The ACCA qualification is your route to professional status as it is designed to provide the accounting knowledge, skills and professional values which will deliver finance professionals capable of building a successful career in any sector.

There is a strong focus on professional values, ethics and governance. These skills are essential as the profession moves towards strengthened codes of conduct, regulation, and legislation – with an increasing focus on professionalism and ethics in accounting. These are examined at the highest level in the ACCA qualification and are a core element of your practical experience requirements.
Progression
Candidates who pass the first 9 papers of the ACCA qualification will be eligible to sit for the BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (provided that the ACCA has entered the candidate for the programme)

The whole course is divided into two levels:
·         Level 1 Fundamental Level
·         Level 2 Professional Level
·
Level 1 contains two modules: Knowledge and Skills.

Module Skills contains 6 units
·         F4        Corporate and Business Law (CL)

·         F8        Audit and Assurance (AA)
·         F9        Financial Management (FM)
 
Level 2 Essential units
·         P1        Professional Accountant (PA) 
·         P2        Corporate Reporting (CR) 
·         P3        Business Analysis (BA)
Level 2 Optional units (two to be selected)
·         P4        Advanced Financial Management (AFM) 
·         P5        Advanced Performance Management (APM)

Entry Requirements
 
A student must have an IELTS score of at least 5.0 to be allowed entry to the programme and 12 years education (Secondary and Higher Secondary Education).
